Fishwick Papers: The "Book a Double Bed in a Hotel" Edition

Howdy, pardner! This week I've been looking into television, game history, and the attention economy, but weirdly not much of that has made it into this week's paper. Huh. Instead, I'm offering you some other things I've found. One bit of context: the first three links are to a series of articles that have been blowing up in the museum community. They're about the transformations happening at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and they throw out many questions about the role of a museum, its financial models, and its responsibility to its audience. If you're at all interested in the arts industry, I recommend them. Also, if you're in Melbourne, this weekend I'll be appearing in How The West Was Improvised. Tickets are riding off into the sunset, so make sure you get yours now. Yeehaw!
