Fishwick Papers: The "Gangly Armed Cartoon Saviours" Edition

BOO!It's me, back from the dead (by which I mean a holiday, a theatre festival, and two very large deadlines at work) to dispense some links to interesting things I read. What more could you WANT? Besides regular updates. A quick recap: I took an excellent holiday with my family in the middle of September. In October, I debuted my show The Saboteur to the New Zealand Improv Festival. It went very well, and I'm hoping to tour it to other places next year!At work, we've pretty much locked down everything that's going to be in the exhibition. Right down to deciding the size and location (in millimetres, of course) of all 242 images and 148 objects going in my section. Starting in February we'll be actually installing them into the exhibition (currently being built) until it opens a few months later. There's a sneaky preview up on our website, if you're interested. I've also written pieces for ACMI about the game Wilmot's Warehouse, and the video artist Jan Hakon Erichsen.I've also been teaching and performing with Impro Melbourne. Some of my students will be presenting their work next Thursday at the Courthouse Hotel in Melbourne - come along if you're free!As always, thank you for reading, for subscribing, for sharing this with your friends, for thinking, and for living your true lives. Go get'em.UNTIL NEXT TIME!I love you,jim xoxoxo
