Fishwick Papers: The "Garfield Beach Phone Mystery" Edition

Howdy-doody, paperslingers.Or really, I'm the paperslinger. Does that make you a papersling-ee? Who's to say.I'm in Sydney at the moment, for some meetings with film studios as part of the new exhibition at ACMI. I can't really say who they are yet, but this continues to be a very cool project to work on. Right now I'm in the process of working out which concept art, behind the scenes photos, props, and scripts we can show for over a dozen films, tv shows and games to help reveal how they get made. It's a real cool challenge and I'm excited to show you the finished version when we reopen in about a year's time. If you're interested, you can see some sneak previews of the exhibition and our process in this article in The AgeFinally, I'm obsessed with this thirty-minute presentation on constructing a new/better/perfect Pokérap. If that sounds remotely of interest to you, I recommend it very very highly indeed.Thank you for subscribing and reading my long-winded prefaces to the links. Garfield Phone Beach Mystery

THINGS I AM PROMOTE:I performed in the Melbourne Comedy Festival last weekend! It was great fun. If you're in Melbourne, come check out the remaining shows (which will be without me but still great)I'm going to be in Wellington at the end of the month! I'll be speaking about videogames in museums as part of the New Zealand Games Festival, and then doing a workshop about improvising in immersive/interactive theatre. I just need to work out how to do something on ukulele crosswords and then it can officially be the Weekend of Peak Jim.Also, my friends at Improv Theatre Sydney are crowdfunding for a new venue. If you have some spare moolah please send it their way!
