Fishwick Papers: The "Honeymoon Sweet" edition
Afternoon paperisticas!I write this to you from a farm in new zealand, where I'm hotdesking at Kirsty's workplace. I'm taking a week to work remotely on some research and writing... after... last weekend... where I... got marrieeeeddddd! It was a really fun night and I had a lovely time. Anyway, this probably also explains why there hasn't been a paper in a few weeks. Turns out weddings require a bit of attention and decisions, hey? Coupled with a few deadlines arriving at the same time at work, my brain has just been a little full.BUT I'm back in full force with some V. INTERESTING things that I've found over the last few weeks. And a promise that the Fishwick Papers will return to its (sort of) regular schedule. One quick thing to add I'm super grateful to have been published in Humanizing the Digital, a collection of ideas from the conference I was at last year. My co-presenters Alli, Seema, and I have written up our talk on Performing The Museum, so if you'd like to financially support a scholarship program for museum workers while watching me reach self-parody by writing about applying improv theory to museums then WHOO BOY I HAVE A DEAL FOR YOU.Anyway, that's it for now. Thank you for subscribing, thank you for reading, thank you for telling your friends to subscribe at tinyletter.com/fimjishwick, thank you for loving yourself and spreading joy in the world.SEE YOU SOONjim xoxoxo
