Fishwick Papers: the "How to Internet" Edition
Good afternoon paperinos! It's been a minute since the last edition. My exhibition opened last Friday, and in among the rush to get things done the paper writing was waylaid. But now the exhibition is open! Fifteen games that are free to play every day at ACMI. You can find out more about it here. We were in early Friday morning to add new text to the space, install the games on the consoles, move things around and polish them up, and we opened at 10am nice and smooth. Then by 10.45 someone had gone around and factory reset all our Playstation 4s. Hurray! But of course our AV dream team are incredible and had everything back up and running by the end of the day. Now that the exhibition is open, I'll be doing a bit of writing for ACMI's website about some of the games and ideas in the exhibition, and on my process in developing it. I'll share them here when they go live. Anyhow, I'm Sydney for the weekend now with a moment to sit down, so I have a paper for you! Enjoy <3

Welcome back! Thank you for reading these, for suggesting things to include (which you can do by replying to this email), and for telling your friends to sign up (which you can do at tinyletter.com/fimjishwick). Next week things should be back to our regular schedule. Finally, I strongly suggest you use this form to tell a federal parliamentary committee to ratify the recommendations of the Uluru Statement. All my love, jim xoxo
