Afternoon!I write to you full of the hokkien mee noodles I ate for lunch. Forgive me, they were delicious.This has been a very future-oriented week. I finished the first draft of this year's Christmas Wordplay Quiz (which I look forward to sharing with you soon), and I've also started thinking about next year. See, my contract with acmi finishes up when we open the new exhibition, so from mid-next-year I'm going to be back in the dizzying world of freelancing. On the one hand, I'm very much looking forward to spending some time in New Zealand, where my wife currently works, and on the other hand does anyone have any jobs for someone whose marketable skills include "immersive theatre" and "writing irregular newsletters of links"???I forgot to mention in last week's catch-up on my hiatus that I was a guest on Escape This Podcast! It's a podcast where folk play escape rooms! I had an absolute blast in the two episodes I was one, first running a room for Bill and Danni, and the other having a great sprawling chat about escape room design.I believe that will do for now.
