Fishwick Papers: The "One Year Anniversary" Edition
Paperinos!I am struggling to fully comprehend the idea that it's been one year since I moved to Melbourne and started at acmi. It's flown by very quickly indeed, and I feel like I've only just landed. I know the papers have been a little quiet for the past few weeks - this has been a combination of not doing as much generalised research, being sick, and having Melbourne International Games Week on. BUT given that it's the one year anniversary of the Fishwick Papers, I wanted to do an anniversary throwback. I've combed the last 12 months of papers and found about 15 articles that I think typify what this thing is interested in. The unusual implications of technology. Weird corners of the internet. The importance of representation. Just neat stuff I find. I'm still not sure how to pin it down but I'm working on it. Thanks for sticking around, for reading, for lovely feedback, and for being like-minded compatriots. I'll see you again next week. All my papery love, jim xoxo
