Fishwick Papers: The "Think About Things" Edition

Good Monday to you!I write from Hamilton, New Zealand, where I'm taking a week to work remotely. A lot of what I'm doing at ACMI at the moment is writing material about the new exhibition for our website, and briefing information for the visitor services staff. We don't want the curators to finish the exhibition, and wander off into the sunset. From my training in interactive theatre and my experience in visitor services, I know that the staff in the exhibition are vital in ensuring that people have the experience that we're after. I want to make sure they have all the information we can give them to help with that.I'm also rapidly approaching the end of my contract. I have eight weeks left! The plan is to move here to Hamilton, working on theatre projects (I have a few things up my sleeve, more of which soon), and doing some freelance writing, and working on a novella and album. But mainly tending to the garden and baking bread, that sort of thing.I've also been having the best time performing The Saboteur in Melbourne. It's thrilling, hilarious, and we've had a great response from the audience. We even got an extended season - two shows left on March 13 and 20, if you're around and interested. If you're in Sydney, you are THE FIRST to know that I will be bringing The Saboteur to you in early July! Shhhhhh! I'll let you know more soon.Alright, that's enough for now. I'll write to you soon (sooner than the gap between the last one and this, I promise). Thank you for subscribing and reading and telling your friends.I love you,BYEEEEEjim xoxoxo
