Fishwick Papers: The "Your Neutral is not Our Neutral" Edition

Goooood evening! It's the second FP (that's what the cool kids are calling the Fishwick Papers) in a week! How was that? Too much stuff in a week? Would you want that again? Let me know! This week at work we've made a start on the next level of research for the exhibition we're working on, and I was assigned research into the emergence of colour film. Specifically, I chose to look at how the technology of colour film was developed to best represent white skin tones. Film stocks, dyes and lighting were not only chosen to represent white people, but to make white people whiter than they are. Wild.
