Fishwick Papers: The "five-pound ham-hock tossed from a speeding truck" edition

Seasons’ greetings, paperinos, and a very merry boxing day to you all!

I hope you’ve been able to enjoy some combination of food, drink, family, friends, rest and nonsense in the last few days. I’ve been having a lovely time in Aotearoa, and am about to head back home to spend a few days at my mum and dad’s place. (I’ll be back in Aotearoa before too long — there’s a tour in the works for April/May, watch this space!)

As promised, the 2024 Wordplay Quiz is now live here! You can get the answers by supporting me on Patreon here, buying the compendium here, or visiting my facebook, instagram or bluesky on 30 December.

That’s about the size of it! I don’t have much else to tell you, save that I hope you have a lovely end of the year and I look forward to seeing you in 2025!

Mwah,

jim xoxo

PS. This is the first Fishwick Papers sent through beehiiv. Did I do it right? Does anything look weird? Let me know!
